The marriage was a sham to begin with. Ms. Bynum broke up Weeks’ family and spent a million dollars on the backs of her supporters who gave her money for her ministry for an ultimate, extravagant wedding. As I watched the video of that wedding, my insides churned. You can’t build your future on someone else’s sorrow. Both of them are reaping what they have sown. The further tragedy of this incident is that Ms. Bynum is now elevating herself to be “the face of abused women around the world.” Who could respect her enough for her to have any kind of positive influence?

I donnot agree on anything negative about Juanita Bynum. I truelly understand the pain and the truth about domestic violence. My husband also tried to kill me three different times and he would never admit what he did or that i was even hurt in any way, it was always my fault no matter what. After i left him five months ago i found out that he had been on drugs for 2 years and had a visectemy before we got married but always denied it… The whole marriage was decieved from the begining. He never told anyone about the physical abuse. People in his family didn’t even have a clue. I have come to say that your past does not determine your future and Juanita is a strong woman of God and God will carry you in your weakest momements always remember that your not alone Juanita and you have plenty of people around you that love you and support you doing the right thing and coming forward. For we who are in Christ are not ashamed, the Fathers love gives us the strength to move forward and pressing on toward the upward calling.. No one said it would be easy but we will walk through the fire if he wants us to.

Juanita bynum has been a great inspiration to me. I sincerly pray for God’s mercy on her life,for it not of him that willeth or of him that runnet but of him that He showth mercy.We all pass through situations in life but as chistians we believe that it is for a greater glory .Juanita,do not be discouraged for i am sure that God whom you serve will not forsake you.MAY THE PEACE OF THE LORD BE UPON YOU NOW AND FOREVER

I am utterly disgusted by some of the comments left by so called Christians. Even if all of the negative things that people are saying are true, I remind you of the passage of scripture that says “He who is without sin, cast the first stone.” Have we become so self rightous that we belive that it’s okay to pass judgement of another person as if we are perfect. We all are as filthy rags before the lord and had it not been for Gods grace and Jeses’ obedience and love for us, where would we be. I encourage everyone who is and has passed judgement on this couple to repent. Also the Bible encourages us to strenghten our brethern and stand in the gap for one another not to rejoice in each other’s short comings. While I don’t agree with the abuse, I do recognize that it’s the enemy and not the person at work. Be careful, the Bible warns us about thinking of ourselves higher than we ought to less we fall. Has anyone ever considered that although this couple has been called by God, they are always under attack because of the committment and sacrifices they’ve made and continue to make to be vessles fit for God’s use. Don’t forget that it’s only by God’s grace that we’re able to do anything. I belive that marraige represents Christ love for the church. If we’re honest, we have all committed adultry against Christ, we’ve all abused him, etc. He still loves us and is always ready to forgive. Juanita, keep your head up. You preached a message once about the afflictions of the rightous being many but God delivering us out of them all. We don’t get to chose our battles but what we are expected to do is to glorify God in how we handle our battles. I’m confident that you will be emensely blessed for your shame and willingness to show God’s grace at work. I pray that God gives you double for your trouble. Stay encouraged and God bless you.
